Oil companies are pushing for more drilling in the fragile Western Arctic landscape.

Our world is experiencing the severe repercussions of the climate crisis. Drilling for more fossil fuels is not the direction our nation needs to go to address this crisis. It also permanently scars this critical wildlife habitat, the breeding ground for migratory birds, caribou.

As people of faith, we have a moral responsibility to care for our Sacred Earth and ensure this critical wildlife habitat is protected.
