Submit Your Comment on EPA's Light-Duty Vehicle Standards
Transportation is the #1 source of carbon pollution in the United States, which has detrimental effects on our health, communities, and Shared Home. The national rule that limits pollution from light-duty vehicles, like cars and SUVs, is up for revision right now. Strong clean car standards will help ensure that our nation's passenger fleet becomes more fuel-efficient while reducing carbon pollution.
We have a moral obligation to cut carbon emissions and other pollutants that harm our health and our communities. While EPA's proposed rule is a step in the right direction, we have an opportunity to take bold action and go even further. Therefore, these standards need to be at least the strongest of the alternatives proposed by the EPA.
The EPA needs to use these standards to rapidly accelerate the transition to electric cars and put our nation’s light-duty vehicles on a pathway to 100% zero-emission vehicles by 2035!
